1. What size are the storage modules?

Each Module can accommodate all the furniture and belongings from a typical room or a room and a half. It is specifically designed to store furniture and large items like king-size mattresses, twin-door refrigerators, and huge couches.

2. How many storage modules will I need?

On average, you will need one (1) Macy’s Storage Module for every room of furniture you would like to store, refer to our space calculator here.

A studio typically needs one (1) module
A one to two bedroom home typically requires two (2) modules
A three-bedroom home requires three (3) to four (4) modules to be safe

If you have goods that will not fit in a module, please speak to our friendly customer service agents, and they can arrange for the storage of oversized items in our warehouse racking.

3. When can I have my goods picked up or delivered?

Once you’re all booked in, we will deliver and place your Macy’s Storage Module on the required date as per your instructions at the address you have nominated.

4. How do I access my goods?

You can access your Macy’s Storage Module six (6) days a week. During weekdays, we are open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Saturday, we are open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please remember to provide at least 24-hour notice so that we can retrieve your module(s) ready for your inspection.

5. Are the modules secure?

Yes—there are 2 locking points on all doors of our Macy’s Storage Module, and you will have your own locks to lock it up when your goods are in it, whether at your place or ours. Don’t worry, because only you have access to the keys to these locks.

We also have industry-standard security and fire systems at our storage facility to monitor your modules while they are in our care. As part of our association standards, we also undertake annual fire audits and conduct quarterly pest and rodent control inspections.
